Noelle. Hi, Mr. Noelle. My name is Mr. James. I'm with the Border Patrol in San Diego, California. Listen, I hate to give you a call here on Sunday afternoon like this, but it's been brought to our attention, sir, that you have been, let's say, part of a group that's helping people get across the border.

Speaker 1

been brought to our attention here at the border patrol headquarters here in San Diego

Speaker 1

that, uh, and I know you live in Los Angeles, but it's been brought to our attention that

Speaker 1

you have been helping people get across the border from Tijuana into San Diego.

Speaker 2

Wait a minute, man. I haven't even, I haven't even been close to the border, man.

Speaker 2

What the f*** are you accusing me of? I don't even go near the border.

Speaker 2

Okay. I, I, you must have a wrong Noel.

Speaker 1

What? No, I think I have the right Noel, sir, but I'm just trying to get clarification here.

Speaker 1

out a little bit more um clearly for you from my understanding is that uh I'm getting some uh

Speaker 1

I've got an anonymous call that you uh per se Mr. Noel is the one that has been helping people get

Speaker 1

across and you've helped over 80 plus people get from Tijuana into San Diego uh into the United

Speaker 2

States let me tell you who the can help people getting to the United States if I just told you

Speaker 2

Tommy, what's wrong with you? I mean, come on, you probably have the wrong Noel, man.

Speaker 1

I don't, sir. I don't have the wrong Noel. How can I call Mr. Noel? You live in Los Angeles and it's been brought to my attention. They've given me the correct number on you, sir. I do have an address on you. I want to try and see if we can get this clarified over the phone, but I will send a squad car out there and talk with you. And if things don't go well, I will have you brought in.

Speaker 2

But let me tell you, if you are near the border, or if I were to be near the border there too,

Speaker 2

and I would see my people trying to cross over, if I were you, I would help them over.

Speaker 2

Because they're the only ones that actually work over here on this side of the river.

Speaker 1

Wait, wait.

Speaker 2

So get that into your head, man.

Speaker 1

They are the only ones that what?

Speaker 2

That work.

Speaker 2

You guys don't want to do anything.

Speaker 2

People in the United States are lazy, man.

Speaker 2

They don't want to do their yards.

Speaker 2

They don't want to go to the restrooms.

Speaker 2

They don't want to serve in the restaurants.

Speaker 2

Let me tell you, this is going down the tubes because we are the ones that make this country roll.

Speaker 2

that to your f***ing head. I'm not saying that.

Speaker 2

All I'm saying is that he should appreciate

Speaker 2

what we do over here, and you're accusing

Speaker 2

me here? Sure, I'm Noel,

Speaker 2

and I'm a hardworking person over here, but don't

Speaker 2

accuse me of any b***h like that.

Speaker 1

Sir, sir, I'm not accusing

Speaker 1

you. It's been brought to my

Speaker 1

attention, sir, that you, Mr.

Speaker 1

Noel, are the one that's helping

Speaker 1

people get across the border.

Speaker 1

Now, did you just tell me that if

Speaker 1

you were at the border, you would

Speaker 1

help them? Did you say that?

Speaker 2

I would but I didn't say I was doing it. There's a big difference and I'm pretty sure you understand that because what the fuck is this?

Speaker 2

I'm over here minding my own business and you're telling me all this

Speaker 2

That people are telling you that i'm crossing like mexicans illegally over here to this country

Speaker 2

Let me tell you one thing man. If you do not appreciate my people over here

Speaker 2

Me of bringing them over here illegally got that

Speaker 1

I understand wholeheartedly what you're saying, but listen to me

Speaker 2

Yeah, I got a right to say.

Speaker 1

Do you have a right to be helping people across the border?

Speaker 2

Hey man, let me tell you, those people have the right to better themselves.

Speaker 2

They say they have the right if they can get away with it to come over here.

Speaker 2

I'm not saying that I'm helping them,

Speaker 2

And you don't have the right to ruin their dreams to say people got the right to come over here and better themselves

Speaker 1

But what are you doing to better yourself? No?

Speaker 2

You don't even know me hey like on my own my own lawn mower service

Speaker 2

I do the hedges and everything is it because you know what because the people here don't want to do it

Speaker 2

I say and that's what they get people like me and like my people that come in from Mexico

Speaker 2

And we do we ain't afraid of it and it'll be the heat or getting dirty. I got no oil

Speaker 1

47 is safe. I got no problem with you having a lawn service. I got a problem with you trying

Speaker 1

to get people across the border when they not see. Cause you know what? Who do you think you are?

Speaker 1

Who do you think you are? You ain't no, uh, Caesar Chavez. No, I'm not no Caesar Chavez. I'm not
